We are a dedicated coalition of local residents committed to preserving the financial stability and integrity of Prairie Village. Our community has long been a cherished place to live, but unchecked municipal spending and financial mismanagement threaten its affordability and character. We advocate for responsible governance that prioritizes fiscal accountability and values community input.
Our Problems
A 40% Increase in General Fund Spending from 2020 to 2025.
Debt per capita has surged, climbing from $247 in 2014 to $1,202 in 2022, with a modest decrease to $1,076 in 2023.
The City Purchased a $5 million church, now set for demolition, to make way for a $30 million City Hall hosting just 24 employees.
